The Soviet Twins: The Hidden Common Origin of the CCP and KMT
The Soviet Twins: The Hidden Common Origin of the CCP and KMT
In the CCP's narrative, there is a fixed pattern: the KMT is a "pro-American" puppet, America's agent in China; the CCP is an "independent and self-reliant" force, the only party that truly represents national interests. This narrative is repeatedly emphasized, to the point where many people subconsciously believe that the KMT was America's agent from the beginning.
However, the historical truth is far from this. The KMT was not inherently pro-American; in its initial crucial phase, it was precisely a Soviet creation.
I. Soviet Dual Support for Both Parties
In the 1920s, the Soviet Union directly intervened in Chinese politics to expand the influence of the Comintern.
The Whampoa Military Academy was run by Soviet advisors; Sun Yat-sen relied on Soviet funding and military support to establish the National Revolutionary Army.
The First United Front was essentially the Soviet Union binding both parties to its war chariot simultaneously.
The KMT's cadre education, military system, and party organization were almost entirely copied from the Soviet model.
In other words, neither the CCP nor the KMT were initially "indigenous modern Chinese parties," but rather dual experiments by the Soviet Union in China.
II. The CCP's Cover-up Tactics
Why does the CCP desperately hide this period of history?
Because once it acknowledges that the CCP and KMT are actually twins from the same foreign parent, it would puncture the carefully crafted myth:
The KMT was not America's "running dog," but rather the Soviet Union's early "student";
The CCP was not "self-reliant," but rather the same student, just more obedient and thorough.
If the truth were revealed, the CCP-KMT conflict would be nothing more than "internal strife between two Soviet branches." This completely contradicts the CCP's later claims of "national independence."
III. The Ironic Legacy
Even more ironically, when the CCP completely defeated the KMT and seized power, it quickly turned around to betray the Soviet Union and switch to American goodwill, relying on American orders to survive.
The KMT, after fleeing to Taiwan, only then truly moved toward America's embrace, becoming the "pro-American puppet" that the CCP describes.
History here shows a ridiculous dislocation: the CCP's history of betrayal is erased, while the KMT is forcibly portrayed as "always having been America's running dog."
Conclusion
The truth that the CCP refuses to acknowledge is that it and the KMT were originally products of the same script. Both parties were not spontaneous awakenings, but rather twin experiments sown by the Soviet Union in China.
The difference lies only in that one eventually became "orthodox," while the other was labeled "reactionary."
The CCP needs to constantly fabricate lies to conceal this shared origin.
The real irony is that while they conceal their own Soviet bloodline, they use "pro-American" to slander the KMT. The historical deck has been shuffled, but the gamblers at the table are all wearing the same red underwear.
