The Void Century — Mutual Complicity Between Celestial Dragons and the Colonized

In reality, the people of the Celestial Dragon Nation are worse than the fictional characters in One Piece.

When reading One Piece, two concepts feel eerily accurate when applied to the real Celestial Dragon Nation:

One is the Celestial Dragons.
The other is the Void Century.

In reality, the vast majority of people in the Celestial Dragon Nation know nothing about the true history of the past hundred years—their textbooks are filled entirely with histories meticulously fabricated by local lackeys.
Yet they devoutly believe in a so-called “5,000 years of history,” in a “since ancient times” narrative repeatedly packaged and sold by the ruling powers.

At first glance, this seems absurd: they are ignorant of modern history yet firmly believe in an ancient one.
But on second thought, this is the logic itself—they are not ignorant by accident, but by choice; with evidence laid before them, they deliberately look away; even when the truth is already clear, they still feign ignorance—consciously working to preserve the lies and strengthen the rule of the Celestial Dragon colonizers.

Even more absurdly, when someone stands up to expose the fabrication of both modern history and the “5,000 years” myth, they do not show gratitude.
Instead, they actively reject, attack, and even report such “heretics.”
In such a system, the few who truly understand the truth can hardly stir even the smallest ripple.

Thus, the majority and the Celestial Dragons form a kind of tacit pact:
the Celestial Dragon colonizers and the colonized race toward each other, sustaining the system together.

The colonizers create the void; the colonized actively guard it—this Void Century is not merely manufactured, but the result of the Celestial Dragons and the colonized meeting halfway, in mutual complicity.
