The Pan-Asian Research Collective is an independent, non-governmental project dedicated to imagining and building Pan-Asian futures that move beyond the ideological and colonial scripts of the twentieth century.

We believe those historical distortions are not undone by resolutions or memorials, but by constructing new realities in which they no longer have the authority to dictate how people live. Together with spontaneously evolving currents of thought and action across Asia, we work to open and extend such trajectories of the future: along these paths, the unfinished struggles of the last century quietly lose their power, while a new configuration of forces — rooted in free will, alive with energy, and capable of real organization — is beginning to rise.
